Jennifer King
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Jennifer King is a Florida native who received her Master’s of Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice from Saint Leo University in 2017. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology.
Jennifer began her social work career at the Alachua County School Board providing counseling and case management services to at risk youth. She worked at UF Health Shands for four years providing psychosocial support for adult and children kidney/pancreas transplant recipients.
Jennifer has experience working with adults and children with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, bereavement/grief, ADHD, Autism, trauma, and anger management. Jennifer provides services in person and via telehealth. She works with adults, children and teens.
Clinical approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
