Angelena (she/her/hers) recieved her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida. From there, she went on to complete her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida.
Angelena provides individual, couples, group, and family counseling. She has multiple years of experience providing substance abuse/addiction treatment with UF Health. Her goal is to provide therapy that is loving and supportive but is also direct enough to help you align with your goals. While she practices from several different approaches, she primarily uses CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy modalities.
In her free time, Angelena enjoys thrifting, decorating, and attending comedy shows. She is one of eight children and loves going home to visit with her mother, siblings, and nieces and nephews in Jacksonville, Florida.
