Before becoming a counselor, Nic earned her paralegal certificate from Widener University’s Delaware Law School and worked as a family law paralegal, where she developed a deep understanding of how life transitions and relationships affect emotional well-being. Since beginning her professional career in the late 2000s, she has accumulated well over a decade of experience supporting individuals through complex emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges across both legal and clinical settings.

Nic brings an authentic, compassionate, and genuine approach to her work. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Her work is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Nic provides individual counseling across the lifespan, with specialized experience in supporting individuals with personality disorders and those navigating substance use challenges.

Nic relocated to Florida four years ago from Denver, CO, to be closer to her family. She enjoys spending time and sharing meaningful conversations with her sisters, who also work in the mental health field. Outside of her professional life, Nic loves spending time with her children, exercising, listening to audiobooks, and working on home renovation and decorating projects.
