Julie (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2003 (Go Gators!) She then received a Masters of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Tampa, FL in 2009.
Julie provides individual therapy for adults, college students, children, and adolescents, family therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Her experience includes providing in-home counseling for children and families, working on a residential adolescent unit providing individual, family and group counseling for children with severe mental health and behavioral issues , and working at a private practice as a mental health counselor. Julie also worked in the public school system as a school counselor for many years.
Julie is passionate about helping children and families thrive. She also enjoys empowering women and girls, working with college students and young adults as they work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjusting to new situations, and building self esteem. Julie also works in our coaching division where she helps young adults gain skills such as those needed for "adulting" and reaching their goals, building their self-concept, clarifying their future plans, and navigating relationships. Additionally, Julie works with families in high conflict situations by offering reunification therapy, custody evaluations/social investigations, and private Guardian ad Litem services and support.

In her free time, Julie likes to spend time with friends and family, travel to interesting destinations, and enjoys arts and crafts.
