Lindsey attended the University of Florida where she earned her Master of Science in Forest Resources and Conservation and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science. She then returned to school at Adams State University for a master’s degree in mental health counseling after being inspired by neuroscience and emerging approaches to healing trauma. She continues to be deeply passionate about helping clients access their own inner resources, strengthen their sense of self, and build the capacity to move through life with greater congruence and authenticity. She has advanced training in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR and integrates these modalities to support nervous system regulation and trauma resolution. Lindsey works with children, teens and adults at Oaks Family Counseling.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time in nature and working on her home improvement projects.
