Michelle Hausner

Michelle (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida native. She graduated from Troy University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She continued on at Troy to receive her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015. 

Michelle provides counseling services for adults, college students, and adolescents. Her experience includes providing counseling at non-profits with adults with life-long debilitating mental illness, adolescents experiencing life changes or mental health challenges for the first time, as well as both adolescents and adults in acute mental health crisis. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, adjustment disorders, as well as challenges that face the LGBTQIA+ community. She is also kink/BDSM informed and affirming. She approaches counseling from a solution-focused, feminist, and existentialist perspective. 

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time searching through antique stores for tiny treasures and the occasional haunted bauble. She also enjoys hiking and bird watching as well as tending to her plants.
