Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

EMDR Trained

Ava (she/her/hers) is passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate anxiety, ADHD, OCD, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and more. She believes therapy begins with building a genuine, trusting relationship where clients feel comfortable being themselves.

Having a personal understanding of learning differences, Ava recognizes they affect much more than academics. She understands the impact they can have on confidence, anxiety, and everyday life, and enjoys helping children and families build coping skills, resilience, and confidence. Ava has experience working with children on the autism spectrum through ABA therapy and completed her clinical internship in a private practice working with adults, teens and children. She incorporates play therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and a strengths-based approach into her work, and is EMDR trained.

Outside of the therapy room, Ava enjoys spending time with animals, reading, walking in nature, skating, running, DIY crafts, and making memories with the people she loves.
