Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern

Masters Level Clinician

Couples Counselor

Jasmine felt a calling to become a counselor as a high schooler and considers it an honor to be doing the work now. She approaches her clients with compassion and curiosity and views the counseling relationship as a sacred space. While most of our hurt happens in relationship, she believes that our greatest healing can also happen in relationships. This is why she believes in the counseling relationship as a soft landing place, where safety and security can be experienced, maybe for the first time, helping to see the potential of creating healthy, safe relationships outside of the counseling room.

Jasmine specializes in working with couples, primarily using emotionally focused therapy. This approach helps couples to identify their negative patterns, become unstuck, and restore emotional intimacy to experience greater security and connection once again. Whether you’ve just started dating, or have been married for 60 years, Jasmine would love to support you in strengthening your relationship!

Jasmine also works with individuals and specializes in anxiety, grief and loss, women’s issues, and the experiences of internationals. She incorporates narrative therapy, existentialism, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches to help you find more peace. She is also delighted to incorporate faith-based counseling if desired.

When not in the counseling room, Jasmine loves exploring new foods, journaling at coffee shops, reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her beloved husband and pet rabbit.

Fun fact—she also speaks Arabic!
