Licensed Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Catherine (she/her/hers) is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. She earned her Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida.
Catherine provides counseling to adults, teenagers, and college students. She has experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, ADHD, stress-management, college issues, and identity development, and has a passion for working with members of the LGBTOIA+ community. She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions.
Her counseling sessions often focus on learning coping skills, developing mindfulness, reframing unhelpful thoughts, processing, and working towards the client's specific goals. Her goal for therapy is to provide a safe, authentic space where clients can feel truly heard and to help clients explore their identity, build self-awareness and self-respect, and empower their strengths. She walks into session being her true self, letting clients know that they can too.
Outside of the office, Catherine enjoys spending time with friends and her three pets, being outside when it's cold, playing video games, watching too many movies, and baking.
