Clinical Social Worker Intern

Kristina is trained in multiple modalities including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. She takes an eclectic, trauma-informed approach that centers on safety, empowerment, and collaboration. Kristina works with teens, college students, and adults of all ages. She strives to meet clients where they are with compassion and curiosity. Her goal is to create a supportive, affirming space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change at their own pace. Her practice emphasizes understanding the impact of trauma while fostering growth, self-awareness, and overall well-being.

Kristina moved to Florida pre-pandemic to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law. There she worked with the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic, and the Department of Justice. However, she felt called to help people on a more personal level. After graduating with her JD in 2022, Kristina began to pursue her MSW with Florida State University. She has experience working with those in crisis, advocating for survivors, and teaching high school juniors and seniors. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys what she calls her “granny” hobbies- baking, word puzzles, and crocheting.
